This is the way I work out, and I know it’s gonna work out for you too!
You must always start each fitness session you do with a warm up and finish it with a cool down routine. I know it sounds boring but this is very important to condition your body. Whether you are going for a run, doing a gym class or doing my workout DVD at home, you should always, always warm up and cool down!
To get the best results from Totally Fit you should build up the intensity of your workouts over a 4-8 week period as you get fitter. Don’t go through hell from the get go, be gentle with your body in the beginning and build up your fitness level. If you are new to exercise try to complete four 30 minute sessions in the first week, and build your way up.
The good thing is you don’t need special equipment to do these routines. Where it’s appropriate you can use a bottle of water or even a soup can, or nothing if you’re a beginner! These everyday objects can really help you progress with the workouts as they offer extra resistance, and they cost next to nothing. Believe it or not, I use brooms and water bottles when I'm working out at home.
It is also very important to drink plenty of water whenever you’re exercising. My favourite water is Aqua Hydrate. These workouts will get your heart pumping and drive your metabolism so it is important to always stay well hydrated.
Before you start, be sure to watch each routine through in order to familiarize yourself with what’s involved.
